Brigitte is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya whose practice focuses on complex Civil Litigation, Corporate and Commercial, Real Estate and Conveyancing as well as Intellectual Property matters. She also engages in Company Restructuring, Re-organizations, Share Plans, Business Formation and Incorporation.
Brigitte is dedicated to getting the job done on any brief that falls on her desk. She is tenacious in representing clients and creative in the development of strategies carefully designed to protect the client’s interests.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Successfully instituted and prosecuted a commercial suit on behalf of a client at the High Court of Kenya for recovery of Kshs. 124,000,000.00.
Been involved in advising a number of clients on Employment Law matters, issuing advice on termination on account of redundancy, unfair termination, employee dismissal and mutual separation.
Successfully assisted in the preparation and reviewing contracts of employment settlement, agreement and mutual separation agreements.
Participated in various transactions involving due diligence, investigations and preparation of legal opinions.
Successfully assisted various clients in the registration and filing of patents under KIPI’s:
Representing various banks in conveyance transactions including charging of immovable property to secure financing on their behalf.
Providing training to various banks on a wide range of legal issues affecting their business.
Successfully - alongside the Senior Partner, advised a state corporation on a public private partnership agreement on a Build Operate & Transfer project amounting to Kshs. 140,000,000,000.00
