Stanley is the Senior Partner at OO&K with over Twelve years’ experience in private practice having handled a broad range of transactions locally and internationally.
He has acted for a cross-section of clients ranging from private clients, public entities and corporate clients in the electoral, financial services, insurance, statutory authorities and private companies. He has led and participated in multi-jurisdictional teams in various corporate transactions including. mergers and acquisitions, disposals and joint venture arrangements.
Stanley has advised clients on market entry strategies as well as project development, structuring and financing.
Stan is the team leader at OO&K and is in charge of strategy development.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Successfully instituted and prosecuted a commercial suit on behalf of United Millers Limited at the High Court of Kenya for recovery of Kshs. 124,000,000.00 and further obtained general damages of Kshs. 50,000,000.00 for loss of business;
Various election Petitions for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (both pre and post nomination disputes);
Successfully defended the County Government of Kisumu in a procurement dispute before the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board over the Procurement of the County Collection System which system was to collect revenue in excess of Kshs. 3,000,000,000.00 annually;
Successfully represented an individual client for recovery of professional fees of Kshs. 173,000,000.00;
Successfully advised a leading Distributor of consumable goods, with a net worth of Kshs. 1,500,000,000.00, in the restructure of its operations, finance, assets and debt management;
Successfully advised a client in obtaining financial facility to raise its working capital for acquisition of farm inputs and machinery and thereafter successfully created and perfected Security Documentation for Kshs. 1,400,000,000.00; and
Acted for various banks in perfection and registration of security documentation and debt recovery:
Successfully advised a state corporation on a public private partnership agreement on a Build Operate & Transfer project amounting to Kshs. 140,000,000,000.00.
